Raglan Backpackers

Raglan Backpackers hostel New Zealand is located on the water’s edge of Raglan’s beautiful harbour, looking out across the water to Mt Karioi. Purpose-built accommodation for your comfort and security, we take pride in our clean facilities, friendly atmosphere and helpful staff.

All rooms open onto a private central courtyard garden, where you can relax in a hammock or enjoy the hot tub. The living room and dining area open onto the grass lawn which is absolute waterfront.

Our hostel is divided into two adjoining areas. The main backpackers is built in a circle around a beautiful internal courtyard garden. All rooms open on to the courtyard ensuring lots of light and air flow for your comfort. These bedrooms are a mixture of shared and private rooms, some with sea view.

The second area is the Holiday House, which is joined to the courtyard by a short corridor. The house has its own kitchen, bathrooms, living room, sun-bathing decks, gardens and of course a BBQ! This side only has three bedrooms which are slightly more spacious than the courtyard ones. All beds in our hostel come fully made up with fresh linen and electric blankets, free of charge.

We are a 1 minute walk from the bus stop and Raglan’s town center with its superb cafes and artisan shops.
